Degradation of its resource base and climate change threaten agricultural production and global food security. To meet the challenges, agricultural eco-systems need to be reconfigured worldwide towards greater resilience and sustainability. The Board of Scientific Commettee is delighted to announce that next conference willbe held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia on 27-28 August, 2016.The School of Economics and Business, Mongolian University of Life Sciences (SEB MULS), and in collaboration with the College of Economics and Management, Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University (CEM NWAFU) China.The conference provides a forum for leading representatives from science, industry, and policy making to discuss the various aspects of resource management and sustainable agriculture in economies in transition. The target audience for Internatonal conference is primarely those associated with members and observes, Scientific Board Commitees and project groups and NGO. In addition, others working in the area in higher education and government agencies are welcome to attend conference and open to nonmembers.The main topics of interest include but not limited to:
- Land use management
- Water resource management
- Forestry tenure reform
- Ecological restoration management ,
- Ecosystem service evaluation
- Pasture management
- Integrated livestock systems
- Rural development
- Rural migration…
- Solution to the challenges for Engineering & Technology
The organizers solicit full-text articles that report original theoretical or empirical research results. Papers should be in English. All submissions will be evaluated by two independent reviewers. At least one of the author(s) of an accepted papers is required to register and present the work at the conference. If your paper is selected for presentation, it is expected that you will have: 15 minutes for presentation; 10 minutes for questions and discussionsPeer Review Process: Submissions will be considered by a scientific committee with leading researchers from the following institutions:- SEB MULS, Mongolia (Organizer),
- CEM Northwest A&F University, China (Co-organizer),
- Groningen University, The Netherlands
- Clark University, the U.S.
- Wageningen University, The Netherlands
- Ghent University, Belgium
- Czech University of Life Sciences, Prague
All conference attendees should be registered for the Conference. Registration should be done before July 9, 2016 by sending the registration form to seb_international@muls.edu.mn. The registration form can be downloaded from website at www.seb.edu.mn/conference.htm. The conference registration fee is $200.00 for each attendee, unless receiving a message of exception from the Organizing Committee.
Full Conference registration includes handouts and admittance to all Conference meetings. The following meal functions are included: Saturday /August 27, 2016/ Lunch, Reception on Saturday evening and meal for Sightseen on Sunday /August 28, 2016/ afternoon.
